For over 30 years, Youth Speaks has been a space where young people, especially Black, Indigenous, Latine, Pacific Islander, and those from working-class communities can find, develop and apply their voices as creators of societal change and find healing and connection.

At a time of increased uncertainty, divisive policies, and poisonous politics, collective art experiences like the ones we cultivate at Youth Speaks can be a powerful antidote to loneliness and despair.

From our arts-in-education school residencies, to specialized writing workshops or our signature Brave New Voices International Poetry Slam, we build platforms for thousands of youth to find their people and connect through the healing power of art.

Art holds the power to bring people together—bridging differences, sparking understanding, and creating shared spaces where connection can flourish.
